Privacy policy
What we process about you, why we need it, how long we keep it and what your rights are.
Who processes your data
The data controller and operator of this site is AppScale s.r.o., Company ID 10722564, Lidická 700/19, Brno – Veveří, 602 00, entered in the Commercial Register kept by the Regional Court in Brno, section C, file 133371.
For questions about processing, contact info@appscale.cz, +420 792 760 347. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to.
Enquiry form
From the form we process your name, e-mail, phone number, expected budget and message. The phone number is optional. No law requires you to provide any of this, but without a name, e-mail and message we cannot reply, so the enquiry cannot be sent.
- Enquiries about our services: we need the details for steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Other questions: processing rests on our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The enquiry is sent from the site by e-mail to our mailbox. The site has no database of enquiries and keeps no copy of them. If sending fails, the enquiry is not stored and the site asks you to try again.
We keep enquiries for 1 year from receipt, on our legitimate interest in following up on earlier communication and documenting it in a dispute. If an enquiry leads to a contract, the details needed to perform it and keep accounts are retained for as long as the law requires.
Server logs
For each request the server writes a technical record: IP address, time, page address and browser details. The reason is our legitimate interest in keeping the site running and protecting it against attacks and abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). So that the enquiry form cannot be flooded, a hash of the IP address is also kept for one hour after an enquiry is sent; it is not linked to the enquiry's content.
These records are deleted automatically after 1 month.
Spam protection of the form
We protect the form with ALTCHA, which runs on our own server. When you start filling the form in, your browser solves a short computing task in the background and the server checks the result. Nothing is sent to a third party and no cookies are created. This is our legitimate interest in protecting the form against abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If the check does not run, for example with JavaScript turned off, the form cannot be sent. You can always call or e-mail us instead.
Cookies
We use no advertising or analytics cookies. The site stores only the essential cookies it needs to work, which do not require consent. All of them are set by this site.
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
cookie-consent | Remembers that you dealt with the cookie bar, with the version and date. | 12 months |
PHPSESSID | Created only after you send the form, to carry the confirmation. | until the browser is closed |
_nss | Protects the form against forged requests, mainly in older browsers. | until the browser is closed |
As we use no optional cookies, the choice in the bar changes nothing about how the site works today. If optional cookies are ever added, we will ask for your consent first.
Who receives your data
Your data is processed for us by our hosting and e-mail providers, and we pass it to public authorities where the law requires. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict its processing and to data portability. Just write to info@appscale.cz. This is free of charge and we reply without undue delay, within one month at the latest. For complex requests this may be extended by up to two months, and we will tell you if so.
Right to object: you may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on our legitimate interest. We will then stop unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or need the data to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.gov.cz.
